Ryan Floer's racing journey
Explore the path that led Ryan to establish North Pacific Racing, from karting triumphs to new challenges on two wheels. Discover the passion and perseverance that fuel our team.

From humble beginnings to racing phenom
Ryan Floer began his racing career at the age of 9 on Vancouver Island, entering club racing with his father. His rare talent quickly shone through, leading to encouragement to pursue professional karting. Success in the SKUSA series in the late 90s propelled Ryan into open-wheel racing, where he won the Eastern Canadian Championship in his rookie year. This achievement garnered recognition from top teams in Formula 2000, Star Mazda, and Toyota Atlantic. Despite multiple successful tests confirming his talent, funding proved to be a significant hurdle, limiting him to part-time programs.

Sprint car victories and a new chapter
In 2007, Ryan ventured into sprint cars, quickly accumulating wins, including the prestigious Billy Foster Championship. Once again, funding challenges ultimately led to him hanging up his helmet. After years away from the sport, still feeling he had unfinished business, Ryan returned to the track. This time, however, it wasn't on four wheels, but two, marking a new and exciting chapter in his racing journey.

The enduring passion for motorsports
Even after stepping away from racing for several years, Ryan's passion for motorsports and its community remained strong. He cherishes the great connections and relationships forged along the way and is grateful for the new friendships he has made in the motorcycle racing discipline. This return to racing is a return to what truly inspires him.
Building a platform for success
"This new platform is built around partnerships and relationships with fellow racers who share the same passion for motorsports. It's about creating a brand sponsors can get behind to complete the full circle of a successful racing team. Starting from the bottom in this new discipline is a welcome challenge, and we've already hit the ground running thanks to our racing heritage. Our top priority is to grow the team, gain skill and knowledge in motorcycle racing, and create a platform that attracts partners proud to support us and help achieve ever-growing challenges and goals."
